Brian Jackson is the Associate Editor with technology news online-only ITBusiness.ca, part of the IT World Canada family of publications. Brian oversees the editorial production at the site, which is tailored to meet the needs of Canada's small businesses. He's implemented a social media presence and clearly defined a new niche for the site since taking on the role of editor.
Brian began his career as a journalist while still completing his degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at Carleton University. He was managing edior of a student newspaper for two years. Upon graduation, Brian volunteered as an intern with The Rwanda Initiative to to work alongside local jounalists in Rwanda as a writer, photographer, and editor. Upon his return, Brian began working with Discovery Channel Interactive, where he co-produced a video series of live events and wrote science news stories. Brian has also developed TV show ideas with Frantic Films, including the Discovery Channel's Guinea Pig.
